Live Mesh: Microsoft's replacement for Windows?

Microsoft has shown that its future is not in Windows or Office, but instead is on the Internet.

Microsoft has shown that its future is not in Windows or Office, but instead is on the Internet. If Microsoft can deliver exactly what has been promised for the newly announced Live Mesh, the company is fully capable of competing with Google, and leaving Apple behind.

New service Live Mesh is being tested by approximately 10,000 testers. As with all things that do not belong to Windows and Office, Microsoft does not give a specific explanation to clarify exactly what it is. At this time, this service is basically a customer-oriented service and will allow you to synchronize all the information on your device, access information anywhere, share data. Data with everyone and always updated about your information as well as the whereabouts of you and your family.

That also showed ambitious and impressive enough. However, Live Mesh is a platform on which developers will write different applications. Those applications will not reside on the desktop but instead will be stored on the network.

So what type of application can be built here? Potential is anything you want. Enterprise-level software, small business software, word processors, spreadsheets and most other things.

At this point we need to use XP or Vista to use Live Mesh. Now when you run the Windows operating system version, you will see a lot of advantages to using Live Mesh, because Live Mesh is just a way to support Windows. However, we have the right to hope that it will run like any Windows operating system after these initial tests.

If this is true, Live Mesh can revalue Microsoft's business kernel. Instead of relying solely on selling Windows and Office, the company can earn more from selling online services. We didn't expect to throw away Windows or Office, but over time, the focus - and profitability - could gradually shift to Live Mesh.

Absolutely no joke, other engineering companies have completed the registration themselves and done it effectively. IBM is a good example. Only after the company realized that it could not exist if it focused on developing and marketing operating systems and computers, did it finally find its way after failing in the past few years. .

Will Microsoft really switch from selling operating systems and client software to selling services? Although not yet clear as Live Mesh can point out the direction for the future of this company.
