First of all, I will talk about the Live TV feature, which is my favorite thing in FPT Play. We have a lot of TV channels for you to watch live, from domestic channels like VTV, HTV, VTC to channels from local stations such as BTV, DN, THVL, QPVN .

What I am most surprised about is that FPT Play offers a variety of other foreign channels, not just a few channels, including popular stations like HBO, StarMovie, AXN, FashionTV, MTV, StarWorld, Cartoon Network, National Geographic. To view a certain content, we simply click on the channel to watch and wait a bit for the application to upload the video. I experimented, found that FPT Play's latency was quite small compared to the TV channel, very good.

Not only that, the application also allows us to watch TV shows like The Voice, Miss Universe, Running Man . and many other shows that are of interest, both domestic and foreign. These shows are arranged into independent videos and have Vietnamese subtitles so they are easy to follow. For shows with multiple episodes, you can choose each episode to watch and not watch continuously for hours continuously. If you feel a good channel or video, FPT Play supports saving it to your favorites list so that you can access it more quickly next time, without having to search again.

Similarly, FPT Play also provides us with tools to watch movies, short clips of sports ( with enough tennis, football for you ), music clips (Vietnamese, Korean and Chinese music). With this rich content repository, I feel this app is delicious. The speed of downloading and transmitting video is my extremely satisfied with FPT Play. Even when experimenting with 3G and Wi-Fi, the video is almost unstoppable whether you're watching Live TV or other individual content clips. It is known that the application supports Multi bitrate to manually adjust the movie quality depending on your network speed, so the image is always smooth.

About the interface of the app, in general, this interface is unified on both operating system platforms, both suitable for the flat interface of iOS but still with the style of Android. The navigation interface is intuitive and easy to use, easy to understand. However there is one problem that is on Android ( I tried with the HTC One running the original ROM ), when switching between movie / clip / sports viewing features, the slider navigation interface suddenly slowed down. When switching back to the Live TV feature, the navigation bar again works normally, sliding in and out very quickly. The manufacturer should fix this point to avoid annoying the user.

As for the interface when playing video, the app supports automatically switching to fullscreen mode when rotating the camera horizontally, just like what YouTube can do. You can also switch manually and even lock the camera. I feel that the control bar at FPT Play's video playback on Android needs to be improved because it has many buttons that make the app worse ( although when the video runs, they are hidden so it doesn't affect much ). FPT may consider moving the preferred video and button sharing buttons on the edge of the screen so that it takes less space, the Play / Pause buttons and video rewinds make it big and slightly apart from each other for easy pressing, similar to iOS version is fine.

Overall, FPT Play is a good application because it provides a lot of extremely diverse channels and content. The most impressive thing is that the transmission speed is very good, almost no stand or jerky even when we use Wi-Fi or 3G. The unfortunate drawback of the app is that the interface for Android version is not very good. Hopefully we will soon see updates from FPT to make FPT Play more beautiful and professional.
