What is Google Play Points and how to use Google Play Points
What is Google Play Points?
Google Play Points are bonus points you get when you buy content on the Google Play Store. These points can be used for discounts, in-app purchases or for Google Play Credit. Play Points allows anyone to sign up for free.
For every dollar you spend, you'll get the same score back. In the first seven days, you will earn three times more points. If you've earned enough points in 1 year, you can level up, which will help you increase your points earned and add new benefits.

The grades are also not permanent. For example, if you earn 600 points in a year and get promoted to silver rank, you will keep that rank for a year. At the end of the year, your new score will determine your rank for the next year. You need 600+ points to keep your silver rank.
