After the article posted on the website www.quantrimang.com posted my article, there are many interested and send an email to ask how to use and exploit and in particular there is a very good question of You:

Q: Hello!
"Connectix Virtual PC v5 simulates a network that not only can exchange between the virtual machines it creates, but it can also be exchanged with the host operating system so you can rest assured to use and research"
But the network card of my computer said it does not have a cable plugged in, how can I use it, I hope you can show me how to fix it
Thank you!

A:Answer: According to the instructions in the Connectix Virtual PC v5 Help section, we can link the machines together into a local area network, but when testing independently, it is not completely like that, it just allowing virtual machines to connect with each other, so to help save resources, we should install the OSH master (winNT server 4.0) if we want to use Client / Server model for virtual machines, or install OS The owner is (Win9x) if he wants to use Per-to-per model for virtual machines

Q: Chao!

I have a beautiful leather jacket with a pond on your phone. I follow him. But I don't know why, I have to run winMe, win2000, but I don't know what to do when I start the program. .

I want to learn, I hope to help people like you.

Thank you,

I hope you can check it out.

A:Please select in Enable Full Screen mode to solve the problem!

Q: Please let me ask some questions:

Hello!

Please let me ask some questions:

1 / Connectix Virtual PC v5 program emulates the network between the machines that it creates or is related to the host operating system (ie the operating system containing this software, do I need to win2003 server)?

2 / I installed win2000 Pro, it works fine (start it does not require pressing 3 keys Ctrl + Alt + Del) but when I install win2000 Sever Family, start it up and press these 3 keys & when pressing the host operating system (win2003 server) interfered with this 3 function keys of 2003 server, how to get to win2000 server family? (I let the full screen also suffer from the above situation)

3 / The emulator is great but does it affect hardware? (such hard drive, file system problem (NTFS, FAT32)?)

Truly knowledge is needed for every person who wants you to help me so I can support my friends! Nice to meet you, I really want to share what I know (there is also a spirit of chivalry!?!?) I advertised to my friends about the site lbvmvt.com and Your article, hoping that we will have forums or playgrounds discussing a computer network or a certain area in IT (saying it badly because I am new to the network should mainly learn to be mainly hihihihi)

Say a word of words "You like my lifesaver" when learning the network with only 1 device, is it great?

I heard there is a good software called VMware.Workstation.v4.0.for.Windows, but you also know that my "calendar" is extremely limited so I don't know how to use it?

Look forward to hearing
Dear!

A. Hello!

Most of the time I would like to answer the following:

1.Connectix Virtual PC v5 simulates a network that not only can exchange between the virtual machines it creates, but it can also be exchanged with the host operating system so you can rest assured to use and research.

2. Problems when you want to logon to windows (2kPro, 2k Family, .) with Ctrl + Alt + Del without being interfered with the host operating system (NT4 Server, 2kServer, 2003Server), then press windows on the right side of the Connectix Virtual PC v5 keyboard will allow you to switch back and forth between operating systems through the window control of each OS you choose, then click on File / Type Ctrl + Alt + Del Host + Del as you have Can log in without affecting the OS.

3. Connectix Virtual PC v5 does not affect the file structure on the disk (Fast / Fast32 / NTFS, .) does not affect the data on the disk as well as damage the operating system is running because it is actually only is a file with the extension ".VHD" the only drawback is that it requires a bit of RAM.

I hope that these ideas will help you, thank you!

Q. Hello!
I am learning how to bring MCP2003 (student ID) to make a lot of skin through my hair! Now, I will bring the LAN pond of you, I am very happy! learning through phan mem now!

Board, let me know how to use this software so that it will be compatible with the HDH 2003 Server? PC 2 and HDH: HDH 2003 Server & Windows XP test How to connect Connectix Virtual?

Through the discussions above and I have tested the program specifically and have the following conclusions:

If you are currently working in a certain unit that your computer has an internal network to other computers, then you can install a virtual network right on your computer to take advantage of all existing resources. available on the network (including the host OS) and other computers on the network if we configure a compatible IP address. We have a specific model as follows:

When you connect the network cable to the machine and the network is currently running (real network) and the virtual network also runs, for example, we have a workgroup as klbank when we click on Netword Neighborook (win9x) or my network places (win2k / winxp, .) We have the following picture:

Picture 1 of INSTALL A FAMOUS LAN NETWORK ONLY ON ONE COMPUTER - PART III

In which the machine is named ' MAY AO WIN95 (User) ' and the ' Usernet ' machine is a virtual machine, the name ' P4 3.0GHZ, 512MB, 80GB, DVD, 15' 'is the machine that installs Connectix Virtual PC v5 software, the machines Other names are real computers online.

When we click on the virtual machine in Network Neighborhook, we also have the image similar to the image above:

Picture 2 of INSTALL A FAMOUS LAN NETWORK ONLY ON ONE COMPUTER - PART III

Same for Uernet virtual machine.

While you unplug the network, the Connectix Virtual PC v5 software installer appears

Picture 4 of INSTALL A FAMOUS LAN NETWORK ONLY ON ONE COMPUTER - PART III

Picture 5 of INSTALL A FAMOUS LAN NETWORK ONLY ON ONE COMPUTER - PART III

Then, if you click on the My network Places item, we don't see a computer name, even though the virtual network is still running.

Picture 7 of INSTALL A FAMOUS LAN NETWORK ONLY ON ONE COMPUTER - PART III

So it is not possible to link between the virtual machine and the host OS.But when you click on Network Neighborhook on the ' Usernet ' virtual machine, the virtual network remains and when you click on any real machine, it will look like the picture.

It is shown that it is not possible to access these devices without network wiring, while it is normal to access between virtual machines as shown:

So depending on each specific case, we can conduct research accordingly. Here, I would like to conclude my article and I sincerely thank you for your interest in this article.First of all, please receive the comments and exchanges from the Friends and the Network Management Board.
