How to Remove Words from Predictive Text on iPhone

1. Reset iPhone keyboard dictionary

While you can't delete specific words, you can reset your iPhone's entire keyboard dictionary to remove all unwanted words from predictive text. However, this will also delete any predictive text you've set up.

You go to General Settings > Transfer or reset iPhone > Reset > Reset keyboard dictionary .

 

2. Use iPhone text replacement

We will enter the text replacement word to remove the predictive text we want to remove.

You click on General Settings > Keyboard > Text Replacement . Next, you click on the plus icon and fill in the content in the Replacement Phrase and Shortcut below.
