1. Check Mouse Keys on the machine

Mouse Keys, or Mouse Keys, is a feature that allows users to control the mouse on a MacBook through the keys on the device, including the numeric keypad.

This may be the cause of your device not being able to press the number keys. To fix it, you need to do the following.

Click on the main screen > Press Command + Option + F5 > Uncheck Mouse Keys > Select Done.

2. Clean the MacBook Keyboard

Not cleaning the MacBook keyboard for a long time increases the risk of dust particles accumulating under the slots of the keyboard, leading to a key jam. 3. Use a removable keyboard

In case you often plug the device into a removable monitor, and also don't care much about the numeric keypad on the MacBook being paralyzed, you can consider buying your own   Apple's Magic Keyboard , or Other removable keyboards that support Apple's key layout.

4. Check the Num Lock key on the keyboard

In case if you are using a full-size removable keyboard connected to a MacBook (or to other devices like  iMac ,  Mac Mini  and  Mac Pro ), there is likely a cause for this situation. because you have enabled Num Lock mode.

5. Reset the keyboard
