How to enable Dark Mode on Youtube

Enabling some of the user protection features on smartphone devices, especially visually, is of interest to many manufacturers today. Step 1:

First of all, users need to access the homepage of Youtube and log into their account.

Step 2:

To open the Chrome Developer Tools tab, press Ctrl + Shift + I with Windows and Cmd + I on the Mac.

At this interface, we switch to the Console tab .

Step 3:

At the Console tab, we'll enter the command line as shown below and press Enter.

If you receive the message as shown below, we have entered the command successfully in the browser.

Step 4:

After that, users need to press F5 to proceed to reload the Youtube page. Next, when you click on the personal account icon on Youtube, a list of options appears as shown below. We will click on Dark Mode in the default setting.

Step 5:

A Dark Mode custom dialog appears on Youtube. At this interface, you push the horizontal bar to the right at Activate dark mode , to start Dark Mode on Youtube.

And the result when we start Dark Mode on Youtube will be as shown below. The traditional white background interface has now been converted to a black background interface. Videos on the Youtube interface are more prominent but bring a more pleasant feeling to users' eyes.

If you want to revert to the old white background, just change the Dark Mode to Off .
