The new Android Police page has discovered an interesting feature of Google Maps, whereby when a person shares their location with you, this app will display information about battery life in their smartphone.
This helps you know the smartphone of the person sharing location information on Google Maps with you about to run out of battery. You won't have to worry if the person doesn't call you when you're lost, or their location doesn't show up on the map.
This is a useful addition to help users keep in touch with their friends and ensure they are safe. It also helps users stick with the Google Maps app.
This new feature has appeared on the Google Maps beta v9.71 application in February. Currently, this new feature is available on both iOS and Android, users can download and experience.
