1. Set up / show USB
On Windows 7
Step 1: Open Computer (1) => go to the Tool menu (2) => Folder Options . (3) .
Step 2: Switch to the View menu and select Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide protected operating system files .
If a message like the one above appears, select Yes .
Step 3: Click Apply (1) and OK (2) to save.
And finally, your USB device is displayed again.
On Windows 10
Step 1: You open This PC (1) => View (2) => Options (3) .
Step 2: Switch to the View menu and select Show hidden files and folders and uncheck Hide protected operating system files .
If a message like the one below appears, click Yes .
Step 3: Click Apply (1) => OK (2) is done.
Then open This PC again and check the results:
2. Fix the error with the CMD command
Step 1 : You run cmd as Administrator. Next, run the drive transfer command.
For example, if your USB drive is named E , enter the E: commandand press Enter .
Step 2: Run the following command and press Enter .
attrib -s -h -a * / s / d
Where: s turn off the system's key
H is for turning off hidden properties
/ s with / d to change properties for all files and directories.
With the instructions above, you can fix the USB error not showing the easiest drive. However, the data in your USB does not matter, the safest solution is to format the virus hidden in the USB error. Good luck!
