Facebook refreshes Messenger with a minimalist interface, adding Dark Mode, running faster

Initially, Facebook Messenger was very simple, but over time Facebook added it too much to make it a 'mess', no longer focused on the original purpose of chatting.

Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg announced at the F8 conference that Messenger is being completely redesigned so that users have a simple and fast experience when texting.

Since the beginning of this year, Facebook has begun to develop the new Messenger interface with night mode (Dark Mode) for users who own OLED screen devices that want to save battery power and users who don't want to be blinding. when using at night.

Next the new app will minimize buttons, the bottom navigation bar is minimalistic with only 3 tabs to make everything look more neat and easier to understand. In conversations, users will be easier to manipulate when the button is reduced from 6 to 4. Camera icons and games moved to the upper right corner look more reasonable. In addition, chat bubbles have gradient colors, which look like Skype.

Facebook also promises that the new Messenger app will run faster.

David Marcus, Vice President of Messenger array, said the new application will be released "very soon" but has not given a specific time.
