Among Us 2: Did you know?

Among Us is having great success, and InnerSloth has just intended to develop Among Us 2

Twitch streamers are crazy about Among Us: it's simple, attractive gameplay at a great price (free on Android/iOS devices and just under $5 for a PC version) for anyone to access. The Gamer uses a lot of words to describe this game: sales are high, servers are about to explode, social networks are flooded with funny videos and generate responses that attract more people. .

It is confusing when InnerSloth announced that it would develop Among Us 2 from 1 month ago - a time when Among Us was just beginning to spread. Here's the gist: Among Us 2 is still in the concept phase, meaning everything is basically just notes on a whiteboard. But the things that InnerSloth shared about the new project are worth hoping for a more explosive version of Among Us.

Among Us 2: Gameplay

First and foremost: Among Us will still keep the core gameplay of the current with 2 factions Crewmate and Impostor. For Among Us 2, it is possible that InnerSloth will add some roles for Crewmate and also Impostor to make the mind battle more attractive and challenging.

Innovation is also seen as a "retaining" factor for those who are passionate about this game. There is still no concrete indication of what that role will be, especially since InnerSloth has quite limited human resources, it may take some time for the public to grasp the details.

Among Us 2 will also expand the number of players (>10 players) per match. InnerSloth has admitted that it is extremely difficult to have an even match with 3 Impostors in all 10 players, so 12-15 people would be the ideal limit for each subsequent match, as InnerSloth is aiming for.

The developer will also fix the bad behavior in Among Us 2 with the introduction of the Report button, anti-hacking measures, and censorship mode. Finally, Among Us 2's matchmaking will be tweaked to better accommodate the customization and skill set that varies between players.

Among Us 2: Price

With such almost systematic changes, it is easy to predict that InnerSloth will increase the price of the next version compared to the current one. No estimated price range is available yet, but the manufacturer is looking for ways to increase the price as little as possible.

InnerSloth is considering four options: (1) discount coupon for people who have played Among Us on Steam, (2) continue to keep the app free on mobile but (probably) pay a small fee to remove ads. reports, (3) spending on small in-game purchases like cosmetics, and (4) big content updates like new maps or free-to-play modes. InnerSloth is yet to guarantee any of these ideas will be adopted.

Among Us 2: Release date

Among Us used to take 6 months to attract players and another 6 months to officially announce. The next version is likely to take at least a similar amount of time to open beta, especially since InnerSloth hopes the open beta of Among Us 2 will be longer than the first, slated for release on PC and beyond. it's mobile.

That's all that's new about Among Us 2. The new, more complex version is expected to engage players with tough challenges. Similar games in the genre like Town of Salem or Werewolf Online could be inspiration for InnerSloth to consider for Among Us 2 content - a wildcard role like Jester or Fool would make for more fun.

No matter how long it takes for InnerSloth to officially announce Among Us 2, players can rest assured that Currently Among Us will continue to operate online for a long time. Even with the servers down, InnerSloth has an open source plan for anyone who wants to continue with it.
