Amazon Go - The automatic convenience store model of the future without special cashier

With this model without a cash register and cashier, customers will have an interesting buying experience, just go to the store, pick up the items and go home. Payment will be made via credit card stored in the customer's profile later.

Amazon Go - Amazon's first automatic convenience system has just been officially introduced and opened in Seattle (USA). With this model without a cash register and cashier, customers will have an interesting buying experience, just go to the store, pick up the items and go home. Payment will be made via credit card stored in the customer's profile later.

To start shopping, customers have to scan the Amazon Go app that is pre-installed on the smartphone and go through a rotating turnstile to check-in.

The entire purchase process of the user is monitored by the camera system and the weight sensor placed on the shelves. Items that customers take or leave on the shelves will be accurately calculated.

After making a selection, the customer comes back and walks through the check-in counter to exit the store without spending time queuing for payment. All products purchased by customers will be automatically recognized by the system for payment. Only the wine and beer counters, the new Amazon staff should check the customer ID.
