Epic Games Store and Amazon Appstore will soon be integrated into Microsoft Store

Recently, the Microsoft Store on Windows 11 is making great strides in attracting developers and supporting apps. This comes from the fact that the Microsoft Store on Windows 11 is now open to all types of applications regardless of the platform or technology it is developed from.

This means developers can directly upload Win32, .NET, UWP, Xamarin, Electron, React Natie, Java and Progressive Web Apps apps to the Microsoft Store. Recently, we saw PowerToys, Microsoft Edge, Visual Studio and Visual Studio Code all available on the Microsoft Store.

Recently, Microsoft even boasted that hundreds of developers signed up to get their apps tested on the Microsoft Store. The most prominent applications being tested include Discord, TeamViewer, LibreOffice, Zoom, VLC, Wikipedia, Reddit.

Not stopping there, Microsoft is also making a huge change in its policy to integrate third-party stores into the Microsoft Store. This way, users can access other brands' stores right inside the Microsoft Store.

We already know that Android apps can run on Windows 11 and are made available through the Amazon Appstore in the Microsoft Store. However, in the coming months, the Microsoft Store will also have the presence of the Epic Games Store.

It is possible that the ability to run Android applications and Amazon Appstore will not appear in the Microsoft Store in time when Windows 11 officially launches on October 5. However, users participating in the Windows Insider Program will soon be able to test this feature.

Finally, recently Opera and Yandex Browser have also announced that they will be available on the Microsoft Store despite being a rival to Microsoft Edge. It can be said that Microsoft is very active in attracting developers for the Microsoft Store on Windows 11. This can be drawn by Microsoft from the failure due to the lack of applications of Windows Phone in previous years.

Hopefully Microsoft will succeed with its plan!
