After Intel, Microsoft blocked April 2018 Update on some Toshiba SSDs

Microsoft Update Windows 10 April 2018 has a lot of problems related to both hardware and software, one of which Microsoft discovered was a failure of UEFI on Intel SSDs. Now following Intel, Toshiba SSD also falls into the same situation.

Currently, Microsoft has blocked April 2018 Update on Toshiba SSDs, including XG4, XG5 and BG3. Microsoft is also working with Toshida to find out the causes and remedies.

'Microsoft is working with OEM and Toshiba partners to find and block devices that use XG5 and BG3 SSDs to install updates April 2018 Update because an incompatibility error can cause battery problems'.

There are also other operational issues that Microsoft does not mention. However, they are also looking for causes and ways to overcome them. If the update fails, you can return to using version 1709 after Microsoft fixes it.
