What is new in Firefox 11?

In the last days of 2011, Mozilla released an update of its familiar web browser - Firefox 11 Aurora. This new version offers more outstanding features that can be used on both desktop and mobile devices.

According to analyst Seth Rosenblatt of reputable technology website Cnet.com , ' Sync is the most useful feature in mobile browsers '. Rosenblatt said, Sync can sync web browser content from desktop to phone or tablet smoothly and quickly.

' Open a tab on the desktop, and it almost immediately shows up on my Android mobile device, ' Mr. Rosenblatt added.

According to Rosenblatt, Firefox 11's download speed is 1.5 times faster than the popular version of Firefox 9.

Meanwhile, Windows 7 and Vista users will no longer see User Account Control (UAC) for Firefox after installing Firefox 11 for desktop computers. This completes Firefox's link with Chrome's ongoing updates without users having to interact with UAC.

Other changes in Firefox 11 Aurora facilitate developers, for example: support more HTML5 codes, the ability to test Google's SPDY protocol to load web pages faster, allowing display 3D website and redesign HTML5 video controls.

Newly developed Aurora browser versions have made Firefox 10 a beta. Changes of this version give users a better experience during web browsing. Mozilla hopes that a new browser update will significantly reduce the number of utility-related issues.
