Firefox updates a host of exciting new features to entice users

New Firefox browser has been updated with some very useful new features. This move by Firefox is supposed to entice users to switch from Chrome browser to Firefox after Google claims only to paid users to use the full functionality of ads blocking ads on Chrome.

Compared to Chrome, the Firefox browser has a number of advantages such as faster website downloads, less RAM consumption and CPU resources, and better user privacy protection. Firefox also has its own utility store and has a feature that allows installing Chrome extensions.

Firefox is one of the browsers unaffected by the API that disables Google Ads blocking ads in the browser.

Some new features updated in Firefox:

Enhanced Tracking Protection

If you download and install Firefox for the first time, the browser defaults to blocking all cookies and the tracker of sites that try to track users.

Facebook Container

Firefox will block Facebook's Like & Share buttons embedded on websites you visit to help users avoid monitoring of this social network.

For example, when you click on an ad, Facebook will know and show you relevant ads. However, Firefox's new feature will prevent Facebook from knowing that, so it can't display related shopping suggestion ads.
