Take the Google Maps suggestion to save 15 minutes, this guy has a trip to remember life
Google Maps does not always provide the right suggestions for users. And the story of Bruce, a guy living in Sydney, Australia below is an example.
In the smartphone era, Google Maps has become an extremely useful navigation tool used by many people on trips. However, Google Maps does not always provide the right suggestions for users. And the story of Bruce, a guy living in Sydney, Australia below is an example.
Every few months, Bruce makes appointments with four other friends who live in different places to meet at the Blue Mountains mountain campsite, an area famous for its natural beauty.
In a recent appointment, Bruce decided to follow the route Google suggested because it could save him 15 minutes on the road. In addition, Bruce wanted to explore a bit, because he had prepared food, 20 liters of water, personal belongings and full diesel bottles. Bruce feels quite comfortable because if he strayed, he would only lose more time.
Bruce drove the Ford Range and followed the shortcut that Google suggested with eagerness he would go to the first rendezvous if all went well.
Initially, the Google path suggested bringing Bruce to a valley. There is a pine farm here, but the pine trees here have been cut down.
Passing through the valley, Bruce reached a very narrow road and could not turn his head. Bruce decided to continue the journey because he had enough diesel to run 1,000km, a tent, CB UHF radio, food to survive the night and still have mobile waves.
After crossing a steep, rough road about 500 meters, Bruce descends on a mountain.
Bruce recalled that he had to overcome many other rough roads. There is a passage, his car uses a slope to slide with the belly going down because the wheel does not touch the ground.
After a difficult road, Bruce went to an area with a beautiful scenery, like a tropical forest. This photo was taken when Bruce crossed a stream.
Bruce's next road is much more beautiful and poetic.
Occasionally, Bruce sees some kangaroo on the side of the road. And it seems that Bruce's appearance and the car don't make them panic.
Finally, Bruce arrived at the rendezvous but instead of arriving 15 minutes early, he arrived 2 hours late. However, Bruce is not too upset about it because he has a memorable adventure.
When Bruce shared his story on social media, it also received the attention of netizens. Some funny people said that Google Maps has enabled Bruce to use his pit car.
