Following the instructions of Google Maps, the guy plunged the car from the cliff into the river
For many people, Google Maps is a useful navigation tool for long trips, leading them everywhere. However, this map application is not always true, many times this application also makes users fall into bad jokes, even life-threatening situations. Recently, Goole Maps with his instructions made a guy named Agus Tri Pamungkus almost lose his life.
Agus got lost while driving to a small village in Ubud, Bali. Because of that, this guy asked for Google Maps support. However, this directions app leads Agus to a very narrow road for motorbikes only. When driving in, Agus could not turn back.
More badly, this is a dead-end road, so when Agus reached the end of the road, he slipped from the cliff to the Wos River. Fortunately, the villagers there saved Agus, and this guy only had a few bruises and sprains.
This is not the first time directions apps like Google Maps guide users to dangerous places. In 2015, the Waze app showed a tourist to a dangerous residential area that killed him.
It's not always possible to get directions. Therefore, users need to understand carefully the destination before starting, should not depend entirely on them.
