PUBG Vehicle Guide: UAZ, Dacia, Buggy, Motorcycles and Boat

Compare six classic PUBG vehicles, including their seating, protection, handling and best uses for rotations, escapes and squad travel.

Table of Contents

Vehicles can make a difficult PUBG rotation much safer, but every option has a tradeoff. A covered vehicle protects passengers better, while a motorcycle offers speed at the cost of almost all cover. This guide explains the classic vehicles shown below and when each one is useful.

Note: PUBG maps, vehicle spawns and balance values change over time. Treat the map and performance details in this older guide as general references rather than guaranteed current values.

Where to find vehicles

Vehicles commonly appear beside roads, near towns and around garages. Spawn locations vary between matches, so scan roads while parachuting and keep a backup route in mind. The map below shows historical spawn locations and can help you recognize the kinds of areas worth checking.

Classic PUBG vehicles

UAZ

The UAZ is a four-seat off-road vehicle suited to squad rotations. Its size makes it easy to spot, but the enclosed version gives passengers better protection than an open vehicle. Use terrain and buildings to screen your approach, and avoid stopping where another team can fire from several angles.

Dacia

The Dacia carries four players and works best on roads and relatively flat ground. It is a practical choice for moving a full team quickly, but steep slopes and rough terrain can reduce control. Plan the route before accelerating so you do not have to make a sharp turn in the open.

Buggy

The Buggy handles uneven ground better than a road car, making it useful when the direct route crosses hills or dirt. Its open frame leaves occupants exposed, especially the passenger, so it is better for a quick reposition than a prolonged fight.

Motorcycle

The two-seat motorcycle is fast and agile, but it offers no protection. Small bumps can become dangerous at high speed, so slow down before ridges, bridges and abrupt changes in terrain. It is most useful when arriving quickly matters more than carrying a full squad.

Motorcycle with sidecar

The sidecar motorcycle can carry three players, but the extra wheel changes its handling and can make it unstable on slopes. Avoid sudden steering inputs and approach downhill sections carefully. Like the standard motorcycle, it leaves every rider exposed.

PG-117 boat

The PG-117 carries a squad across water and can open a safer route when bridges are being watched. It is useful for coastal rotations, reaching islands and retrieving items near shore. Check the next safe zone before committing to a water route because landing points can leave the team exposed.

Practical vehicle tactics

  • Refuel before a long rotation and avoid waiting until the blue zone is close.
  • Do not drive straight into a building or supply drop without checking for opponents.
  • Park behind hard cover when possible; a stopped vehicle in the open attracts fire.
  • Choose the vehicle for the route: road cars for paved travel, off-road vehicles for uneven ground and boats for water crossings.
