You can scan your document to convert it into a PDF file and then use the Perform OCR command on the PDF file to convert it into text that you can edit.

When you open the PDF scan file on PDFelement, the software will display suggestions and remind you to scan OCR on that PDF file.

If this is your first time using the OCR feature on PDFelement, the software will ask you to download additional files for the OCR function.
