Revealing the first Samsung smartphone with a pop-up camera

While other smartphone companies are trying to change and eliminate the pop-up camera design, Samsung unexpectedly wants to launch its first smartphone with this design.

Pop-up cameras were once a new design trend favored by manufacturers, especially Chinese brands, to help remove notch or hole to make the display more perfect.

However, the pop-up camera design also encountered some major problems. For example, this mechanism makes the dust easy to get into the smartphone, the production cost is also higher, the durability may not be high and the user experience is not really comfortable. Because of that, the pop-up camera was gradually removed.

But Samsung unexpectedly wanted to return to the pop-up camera design, even though the Korean giant had insisted on not following the design trends of Chinese smartphone companies.

Several leaked images have recently revealed the design of the first Samsung smartphone with a pop-up camera. Although Samsung previously had the Galaxy A80 smartphone with a slider camera mechanism, it is not strange to pop-up like most Chinese smartphones before.

This mysterious smartphone is said to belong to Samsung's Galaxy A series. In February 2019, Ice Universe revealed that Samsung will launch the first smartphone with a pop-up camera, Galaxy A90. But in the end, the leak did not come true, but a Samsung smartphone with a pop-up camera may still be coming soon.

According to the source, the smartphone has a 6.5-inch screen, no-screen screen, three rear cameras, a fingerprint sensor on the back. In addition, the smartphone has a USB-C connector and no 3.5mm jack. Single selfie camera with pop-up mechanism, can see very similar to OnePlus 7.

Chances are this will be an affordable Galaxy A. Many expect that Samsung will soon apply the newer technology and design, which is the camera completely hidden below the screen, on its upcoming high-end smartphones.
