Samsung Galaxy smartphone users around the world have recently received a strange notification, simply No. 1 and another number 1 below, from the Find My Mobile app. No one knows what's going on and why.

After receiving the message with the content number 1, the user has closed the notification and nothing happened.

Find My Mobile is a Samsung service that allows device owners to perform a number of important functions remotely, to ensure safety and security if a user loses the device. These include remote positioning, backing up data from Samsung Cloud, locking a smartphone or tablet, erasing local data on the device and blocking Samsung Pay access.

Therefore, the strange notification from Find My Mobile has caused some users of Samsung Galaxy devices are panicking.

Some users have been on social networks asking about this issue. Specifically, someone asked, "Did someone else get a strange notification from find my mobile? I almost had a heart attack because of it".

A user contacted Samsung and received an answer that users should not be too worried because this is just a test of the company to ensure the services are operating normally.

This is not the first time a smartphone company has worried its users. Last year, an error occurred during OnePlus's testing that caused its users to receive a text message with Chinese characters.
