Mix Fold 3: The world's thinnest folding smartphone with a potential camera
On August 14, Xiaomi launched Mix Fold 3, the world's thinnest folding smartphone with a potential camera and powerful configuration with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip.
Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is 5.26 mm thick when unfolded and 10.89 mm when folded. To achieve this size, the device's motherboard is designed to overlap vertically.
In addition, Mix Fold 3 is also equipped with a completely new hinge system developed by the company with 198 components and 17% smaller than the previous generation, capable of opening angles of 45-135 degrees and durability up to 500,000 folds open.
Mix Fold 3 owns two LPTO screens, of which the main screen has a size of 8.03 inches with 2K resolution, supports HDR 10+ and Dolby Vision. The size of the external monitor is 6.56 inches. Both screens have a refresh rate of 120 Hz and a maximum brightness of 2,560 nits.
Mix Fold 3's rear camera system includes a main camera using a 50-megapixel Sony IMX800 sensor that supports OIS stabilization, a 12-megapixel ultra-wide tube, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom and a 10-megapixel periscope camera with 5x optical zoom. Optical anti-vibration. This is the first folding model equipped with a periscope camera.
In terms of configuration, the power of the device comes from Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, 12GB/16GB RAM, 256GB/512GB ROM and one TB. The battery of the device has a capacity of 4,800mAh, comes with 67W fast wired charging to fully recharge the battery in 40 minutes, and 50W wireless charging.
Mix Fold 3 has two colors black and gold, will go on sale in China on August 16. Xiaomi has not announced the international distribution schedule of this product.
The price of Xiaomi Mix Fold 3 is 8,999 CNY (VND 29.5 million) with 12 GB RAM and 256 GB internal memory, priced at CNY 9,999 (VND 32.8 million) and CNY 10,999 (VND 36 million) for two, respectively. the other version has 16 GB RAM with 512 GB internal memory and one TB.
