Microsoft changed the shortcut to turn on full screen mode for Apps on Windows 10

Windows owns many keyboard shortcuts and maintains them the same between versions. Whether you use Windows XP, Windows 7 or Windows 10, the basic key combinations are still the same. For example, Ctrl + C to copy, Alt + F4 to turn off the window or Alt + Tab to switch between open windows .

But to Windows 10, there were a few shortcuts to change. When using Microsoft Edge or Store apps, you may realize that the F11 key has no effect. On old desktop applications, this key will help you open the full screen, hide the taskbar and title bar above to get a more focused work environment.

The good news is that Modern applications still support full screen on Windows, only that you have to use another shortcut. Instead of F11, press Windows + Shift + Enter to switch the Store application to full screen mode.

This operation is more inconvenient than pressing F11 and it's not clear why Microsoft has changed that. Perhaps F11 is used for other features in the application, although with Edge browser it doesn't work.
