Instructions on How to Fix 'the Vmware Authorization Service Is

Basically, VMware Workstation is a ' trusted ' program that allows you to run one or more virtual machines on your computer and use these virtual machines with the real machine.

Fixing 'The VMware Authorization Service is not running' error

To fix the ' The VMware Authorization Service is not running ' error, follow the steps below:

Step 1 :

First open the Command Prompt under Admin.

- If you are using the Windows 8 operating system version or higher, press Windows + X key combination to open Power User Menu , here you click the Command Prompt option (Admin).

- If you are using the Windows 7 operating system version , enter cmd in the Search box on Start Menu then on the search results list, right-click the Command Prompt icon, then select the Run as administrator option .

Step 2 :

On the Command Prompt window, enter the command below and press Enter :

services.msc

Step 3 :

Now on the screen that displays the Services window, here you scroll down to find an option called VMware Authorization Service .

Step 4 :

Double-click the VMware Authorization Service option to open the VMware Authorization Service Properties window.

Step 5 :

On the VMware Authorization Service Properties window, you will see Service Status is Stopped. Your task is to click the Start button to run VMware Authorization Service.

Step 6 :

Finally, click OK to close the window.

From now on when opening Authorization Service VMware, you can easily start your virtual machine installed through the VMware Workstation program and do whatever you want.
