Instructions for using Chrome Remote Desktop, remote control computer
Even if you're not physically present, you can still control your computer remotely. Chrome Remote Desktop provides fast, secure, and simple device access using only the Chrome browser.
Step by step instructions
Step 1: There are a few important things to keep in mind:
- Both the controller and the controlled machine must have Chrome Remote Desktop installed .
- Both machines must have the Google Chrome browser .
Step 2: Add the extension to Chrome.

Step 3: Agree to allow the application to be installed on Chrome, click Add app .

Step 4: After installation is complete, a section called Chrome://apps will appear, here you will see Chrome Remote Desktop and click on it.
Step 5: The Chrome Remote Desktop interface appears, click Get Started in the first section.
Step 6: There are 2 parts that you need to pay attention to as follows:
- Share : Click here if you want someone to access your computer.
- Access : You directly access someone's shared computer.
Step 7: If you click Share , the system will ask you to download another part to be able to share the screen for other computers to access.
Step 8: Immediately after that, the system will open a website and ask you to download a file. After downloading this file, launch it .
Step 9: Immediately after running, a code will appear. Now, take another computer and click on Access in step 6 .
Step 10: The code input box will appear, the code is all numbers and does not need spaces, just write it once and then click Connect .
On the other end there will be a message asking if you want to give this device access or not, if you agree then click Share .
The other machine will be able to access it immediately.
Chrome Remote Desktop does not have many advanced features, but remote control of computers is smooth and easy to use thanks to integration with Google Chrome. In the long run, you will find this to be an effective and convenient free remote support solution.
