Next, check if the iOS device that will store the sound is running iOS 13.1 or higher. You can check if your device is up to date by launching the Settings app and going to General -> Software Update . Once that is done, you are ready to start sharing audio. This is how Audio Sharing works.

1. With ‌AirPods‌, start playing audio on iPhone or ‌iPad‌.

2. Launch Control Center by swiping down from the upper right corner of the screen.

3. In the control of audio playback of Control Center, touch the triangle icon and the three circles.

4. Now bring your friend's AirPods‌ (still inside the case) close to your device and open the lid.

5. You will see a prompt on the screen of the device to share the sound with the second pair of AirPods‌.

Once connected, the iPhone or the ‌iPad‌ that stores the audio files will control the volume level on both pairs of headphones, but both listeners can also use any of the headphone control buttons they have. Change the volume independently.

Hope you are succesful.
