How to fix the Continuity Camera error does not work

What is the Continuity Camera on the Mac?
Introduced with macOS Mojave and iOS 12, Apple mobile devices, such as iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, can scan documents or take photos, then instantly share them wirelessly with Macs. Continuity Camera eliminates the need to take pictures or scan documents, and then manually transfer it to the computer.
What to do if the Continuity Camera doesn't work?
There are three main requirements to ensure that the Continuity Camera works properly on your Mac. Follow each section below, in order to fix the cause of the Continuity Camera in order not to work correctly.
Ensure WiFi and Bluetooth are enabled
In order for the Continuity Camera to work, both Mac and iOS devices must have WiFi and Bluetooth enabled. On iOS devices, such as iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi status can be revealed by swiping down from the top right of the screen - making sure that both WiFi and Bluetooth icons are bright (the icon is blue). If not, click on each icon to in turn activate these two elements.
On the Mac, open System Preferences from the Apple menu bar icon at the top of the screen. Click the Bluetooth button in System Preferences to make sure that the Mac's Bluetooth has been activated. To check WiFi, select Network instead.
Make sure you are using a unique Apple ID
In order for the Continuity Camera to work correctly, you will need to log in with the same Apple ID on both iOS and Mac devices. Your current Apple ID on iOS devices can be found at the top of the Settings app . On a Mac, you can access the currently logged in Apple ID by opening System Preferences from the Apple menu bar icon at the top of the screen, then selecting the iCloud option .

Update device software
Finally, it is necessary that both your Mac and iOS devices must be updated to the latest version of the respective operating system. Mac requires macOS Mojave to work, while iOS devices require a minimum of iOS 12 versions.
