1. On your computer, go to https://www.youtube.com/upload to upload your video to YouTube channel.
2. Click Increase your limit located at the bottom of the page, or visit https://www.youtube.com/verify.
3. Follow the steps to confirm your account. You can choose to receive a confirmation code by sending a message (on a mobile phone) or an automated voice call.
The maximum size of a video that you can upload to YouTube is 128 GB and the maximum time is 11 hours.
Upload videos before verifying the account
If you accidentally forget to confirm your YouTube account before uploading a video longer than 15 minutes. After the video upload process is complete you will receive a message to verify your YouTube account .
In the video manager you will see the words "Rejected" (the length of your video is too long).
Click Verify account next to your video to verify your account.
After confirming your YouTube account, on the video manager, click on Active this video (enable video) to publish your video.
No "Increase your limit" link found.
If you do not find the "Increase your limit" link. You access Account Features page (page feature) and then tick the Video item with a longer amount to enable this feature.
Verified account but cannot upload long videos
If you have ever downloaded videos of long duration to YouTube but now do not, you need to check your account for copyright strikes and complaints.
You can only upload long-duration videos to YouTube if your account is in good standing according to the YouTube Community Guidelines and your content is not blocked by Global Content ID.
Video larger than 128 GB
If your video is larger than 128 GB, you can try compressing the video in the video editor before uploading it to YouTube . Doing so will reduce the video file size and still keep the video in high quality. Another way to compress videos on YouTube is to encode videos with H.264 codecs.
