How to lock objects in Google Slides
When importing content in Google Slides, there will be many objects in the slide, such as images inserted into slides in Google Slides, charts in Google Slides,.
And in the process of importing content, to avoid choosing the wrong or manipulating If you mess with an object, you should lock the object in Google Slides. By default in Google Slides there is no option to lock the object, but you can still lock it in a few ways below.
Instructions to lock Google Slides object by group
To lock an object in a slide, you can group them together. You click the Shift key and then click on the object you want to lock, then right-click, click Group in the list. That way you've locked the object to limit wrong editing.
This way you can lock images and shapes together.
How to lock Google Slides photos with background
To lock an image on Google Slides, you will have to set that image as the background on the slide show. When set as background, the background image cannot be moved or deleted.
You click Slides and then click Change background image .
Now we will select the image we want to lock to choose as the background for this slide.
How to lock Google Slides object with Master Slide
Master Slide is used to adjust the layout of objects in a slide and then use it for other slides. And the objects displayed in this Master Slide will be locked.
Step 1:
At the slide you keep as Master Slide, we click on Slide and then select Edit interface .
Step 2:
Right-click the layout and then select Duplicate Layout to create a new layout for editing.
Now we will import objects or adjust objects in this slide. After editing, click the x to delete. All objects in the Master Slide will be locked.
