Instructions for using ioSearch to search on Chrome

Step 1:

Click on the link below to install ioSearch utility on Chrome browser

1. Download the ioSearch Chrome utility

Step 2:

Immediately after the installation is complete, we will see the New Tab interface has been changed, along with the message of the utility, click the Save changes button .

The interface will have a wallpaper that changes automatically every day, along with weather information taken from AccuWeather page with your current location.

Step 3:

At the New Tab page, we'll see some search suggestions pages like Google, YouTube, Wikipedia, .

Click on the 3 dots icon to use more search pages. You can click on the search page in the list to display more in the toolbar. If you want to add certain sites to the search engine, click Add search providers .

Step 4:

Users will then be transferred to the installation interface of the utility. Here you enter the name of the search site you want to add , then click the Add button . You can choose to select the suggested sites below.

When exiting the Add website interface, users will see all search sites displayed on New Tab. If you want to delete a website, just press the red x. Some websites have a gear icon to select the display language when searching.

Step 5:

To search on ioSearch, users can do it in many different ways.

Method 1: Search in New Tab

You can immediately click on the search site on the New Tab interface, then enter the search keyword. Also show the search suggestions below, press the Search button to search.

Method 2: Search in the address bar

In the address bar the user presses io and then press the Space or Tab key, enter the search keyword and press Enter. Below will also find some more specific search suggestions.

This will display a list of suggested search services below. Just click on the service you want to use. If you want to open multiple search pages at the same time, just press Ctrl + select the search services to use. The services will be displayed in different tabs.

Method 3: Search with ioSearch icon

Users click on the ioSearch icon in the address bar, enter a keyword, then press the Shift key and click on the services you want to search.

Method 4: Search from the right-click menu

When accessing the site, users can highlight any word or phrase and right-click will see ioSearch with the search service.

Step 6:

To change the settings of the utility, click on the gear icon on the New Tab interface. In the installation interface we can turn off the ioSearch widget on Google at Show ioSearch widget in Google search results.

Scroll down under the Weather section to select the temperature unit of Celsius to display Celsius, the time can be selected from 12 hours or 24 hours.

The Background section below can turn off the automatic change of background images every day. Below is a background album for you to use if you like.

Step 7:

Returning to the interface when clicking on the temperature section will display an additional update of the current temperature and the next days.
