The way to handle it is to carefully use a flat hard object such as a screwdriver to pry the key up, clean the inside of the key and the contact area on the keyboard, then attach it back to its original position. (see How to clean a computer keyboard)
When prying the key up, both sides should be evenly to avoid breaking and breaking the key. Large and long keys like Enter, Shift and Space Bar often have springs or metal bars inside that are a bit difficult to remove, so be careful not to lose the spring.
The keyboard got spilled with liquid
Spilling liquids such as water, coffee, . on the keyboard is the most common cause of damage when using a computer.
If the water is less, you need to immediately turn the keyboard down to let the water drain out, then quickly dry the water, if necessary, use a hair dryer to dry.
If water is spilled a lot, it may have entered the inside of the keyboard and moistened and wet the electrical circuits. In this case remember not to press any key because pressing it can burn the internal circuits, need to unplug the keyboard cable from the computer immediately. Buttons don't work
This case may be caused by dirt getting inside, making the contacts on the circuit board not in good contact, it is necessary to remove the keyboard and clean the contacts on the circuit board and on the keys or plastic pieces. .
If you look closely at the circuit boards, if you see that the circuits on them are black, it may have burned out.

Broken keyboard wire
If the keyboard has a broken wire, it can be cut and soldered or re-connected the small wires inside, these wires have different colors so they are easy to recognize. The cord of another keyboard can be replaced, but must have the same plug.

The inner plastic buttons used to push the floating keys must be full, if the key is missing, it will not be able to push up.
