How to install PlayStation 5 controller in Steam

First of all, we need to participate in the beta test of the Steam client to be able to use the PS5 controller in Steam right away.

Step 1:

We open the Steam app and click on Steam> Settings> Account .

Now you look below at Beta participation and click on Change . Then show the drop-down menu, we click on Steam Beta Update then click OK.

Finally, click Restart Steam to restart Steam.

Step 2:

After updating Steam, you should be able to connect your PS5 controller to your computer. We will use a USB-C cable to connect to the computer, or use Bluetooth to connect the device.

Go to Settings> Devices> Bluetooth & Other Devices and turn on Bluetooth . Then we press and hold 2 keys PS + Share on the PS5 device to switch to Pairing mode .

At Bluetooth PC settings , click Add Bluetooth or other device and select Bluetooth . When you see the device's name in the list, press select to connect. If you see PS5 with LED , 2 devices are connected.
