Google Earth's mapping service will allow Internet users to dive into the world's oceans or witness ruins in Europe after being bombed during World War II.
On February 5, Google added the Ocean Showcase feature as well as high-quality snapshots of World War II to its free interactive online atlas.
Laura Scott of Google Europe said: " The historical image feature will create a unique spectacle of past events through the latest map technology today. We hope to feature World War. II will allow all of us to understand history in a new way and learn more about the effects of war on the development of our cities . "
This feature includes images taken in 1943 in 35 European cities and in the war-torn Warsaw city in 1935 and 1945. It also allows Google Earth users to compare cities of the past. and now.
Meanwhile, the Showcase feature integrates Google Earth with a seabed tour guided by National Geographic oceanographer Sylvia Earle.
Referring to the famous French ocean explorer, Google Product Manager, Jenifer Austin Foulkes said: " Anyone can become a Cousteau on the screen. You can stop the tour at any time. any time to watch videos about the surrounding areas as well as marine animals like humpback whales . "
