Adobe CEO Shantanu Narayen told CNBC, Acrobat AI Assistant helps you summarize content, ask questions or interact with a PDF file, thereby understanding the content without having to read it all. Acrobat AI Assistant is especially useful in studying, viewing tax documents.

The new feature supports multiple platforms, including desktop versions and browser extensions. The company is currently testing the voice query feature for the mobile version.

However, Acrobat AI Assistant is only available on Acrobat Pro for $4.99, and is not included with the free version of Adobe Reader.
