When you download a movie up to several GB and download the subtitle file of the movie with the common format is .srt to watch. But when watching, the subtitles are skewed with the movie, you are very annoyed when watching subtitles do not match the sound. But if you use the KMPlayer movie software, then you will be able to adjust the subtitles to fit to watch the best subtitle movie.
The following article will give a trick to help you adjust the time for subtitles to fit the movie content.
First, if your computer does not have KMPlayer software, you can download and install KMPlayer software to the system.
Step 1: You open the file with subtitles skewed by KMPlayer.
Step 2: To adjust the sub-deviation so you can use the following keyboard shortcuts:
- [: key displayed earlier than 0.5 sec per press.
- Key]: displayed slower than 0.5 sec per press.
- Shift + [: display 5 seconds earlier than each press.
- Shift +]: display slower than 5 sec per press.
For example, after pressing the [key], the information will be displayed on the KMPlayer interface, the minus sign (-) corresponds to the earlier display.
Alternatively, you can right-click on the KMPlayer interface, select Subtitles -> Subtitle Resync -> Resync Subtitle . If the KMPlayer you choose is Vietnamese, then right-click and choose Subtitles -> Re-subtitle Subtitles -> Re- sync subtitles (or press Alt + Y ).
The Adjust Subtitle Sync dialog box appears, enter the time in the Time box (1000 = 1 second movie). If the subtitles are running slower, enter the back sign - and vice versa. You can adjust it until it fits.
Step 3: After you have adjusted the subtitles, you save:
- Right-click on the KMPlayer interface and select Subtitle -> Merge / Save As -> Save Modified SubTitle Sync . (Vietnamese: Subtitles -> Mix / Save as -> Save subtitles edited synchronously).
- Or you can save a new subtitle file: Subtitle -> Merge / Save As -> Rebuild & Save Subtitle as . (Vietnamese: Subtitles -> Mix / Save as -> Redo and save subtitles as).
So after saving, the next time you review you will not need to adjust the subtitles anymore, the subtitles will be run exactly as the first time you edit. Although this is a simple procedure, it is quite useful and effective when needed. Good luck!
