What causes the image to blur / blur? Dirty lenses are one of the culprits. The outer glass of the camera is exposed quite often to your fingers, so before you take a picture you should wipe the lens with a soft cloth to remove fingerprints or stains on it.

Focusing on the wrong point also results in blurry images taken by the camera on the smartphone. This can happen when you take a close-up shot of an object on a remote background. The camera on the smartphone may focus on the image background, not on the subject. Fortunately, the majority of current smartphones feature touch to focus. Using this feature helps you to focus on the right audience.

The third reason is light. In low light conditions, images may be blurred if you do not hold the smartphone steady when shooting. Even pressing the shutter button can cause blur if you are not careful. Images are not captured immediately, the camera's image sensor needs to be exposed for a certain period of time and in low light conditions, the exposure interval can last up to a quarter of a second or more. Any vibration that occurs with a smartphone during the exposure will make the image blur / blur. Optical image stabilization ( OIS ) will help you overcome this weakness. However, OIS cannot help you if the subject you are shooting moves when you take a picture.

Here is a specific example for each case:

1. The lens is dirty

This photo is a combination of two other photos, the one on the left is taken by a clean lens and the right one is taken by a dirty lens. As you can see, the picture on the right looks pretty blurry and " dirty ".

2. Faulty focus

In this image, the camera focuses on the image background, not the subject. In fact, the camera can't capture 100% of what you want to capture. You just need to enable touch to focus and touch the object to make sure the camera focuses on the subject.

3. Vibration

This is the result when the camera is vibrated and moved while taking a picture. Photos taken in low light conditions are susceptible to blur. OIS helps a lot in this condition but be aware that not many smartphones currently support this technology.

4. Motion object

If in your frame there is a moving object it will turn into a blur. This is also very likely to occur in low light conditions when the camera needs a lot of exposure time.
