Winamp, the once-legendary music player will come back next year

After a long absence, Radionomy recently announced that it will bring Winamp back. Winamp 6 version will be released in 2019, in addition to the legacy already, it will be adding many new features such as playlist play, podcast, radio station ...

Winamp was a familiar 8X generation music player, first released in 1997. The app was sold to AOL in 2002 and Radionomy acquired it in 2014. After a long absence, Radionomy recently announced that it will bring Winamp back. Winamp 6 version will be released in 2019, in addition to the legacy already, it will be adding many new features such as playlist play, podcast, radio station .

Alexandre Saboundjian, chief executive of Radionomy said, Winamp 6 will have two versions for personal computers and mobile devices.

While waiting for Winamp 6, users can experience the 5.8 for PC version which will be released for free on October 18. This is the first release of this application since 2013 until now.

Maybe Winamp will support one of the two most popular music platforms now is Spotify or Apple Music.
