Why Stop Using Free AI Tools? What to Use Instead?
There is no shortage of free AI tools out there. However, you should stop using free AI tools and just use the paid versions instead.
There is no shortage of free AI tools out there. However, you should stop using free AI tools and only use the paid versions instead. Here's why!
Why should you stop using free AI tools?
Many people have stopped using free AI tools because of their limitations. For example, a writer will often use Grammarly. While the free plugin allows for spelling and grammar checking, it does not allow for checking clarity and other factors.
ChatGPT and Perplexity are two more examples of AI tools where the difference between free and paid plans is even more pronounced. For example, with Perplexity Pro, you get more daily searches and can use the tool without worrying about going over your limit.
Another reason people stop using free AI tools is because they are not prioritized. For example, with ChatGPT, you don't get early access to new features. Furthermore, you don't get guaranteed access during peak times with the free plan. This is especially frustrating because you have to plan when you're going to use the app more closely.
What paid AI tools are there as alternatives?
Instead of free AI software, here are the tools you should use instead.
1. ChatGPT Plus
ChatGPT Plus costs $20/month and is well worth the money. With the premium plan, you can use DALL-E to create images. In addition to testing out different types of images for different posts, many people also like to use DALL-E to see what kind of creativity they can come up with.
Another advantage of ChatGPT Plus is that you have full access to Custom GPTsm, which is the most overlooked feature of ChatGPT. You can build a full team of AI assistants with Custom GPT and use them for multiple purposes.
Another great thing about ChatGPT Plus is that you have full access to the latest version of ChatGPT. Therefore, the answer will be more accurate. ChatGPT Plus also does not crash as much as when using the free version.
2. Grammarly Pro
Grammarly Pro will help you become a better writer in many ways, directly and indirectly. Over time, you'll make fewer mistakes knowing you have something that can catch spelling and grammar errors. More importantly, this means you can send error-free copy to your clients.
One of my favorite tools is the Clarity section, which helps me find out when I make too many mistakes. Another great thing is that Grammarly Pro helps me reshape my text when needed.
While Microsoft Editor can compete with Grammarly, there is no better option than the paid version of Grammarly. In addition to what has been discussed, many people also like how Grammarly Pro can help them choose better words for different situations. $144/year is a bargain considering the number of features it has.
3. Perplexity Pro
The free version of Perplexity is highly rated, but you should upgrade to the $20/month premium version for a larger limit. Once upgraded, you can search 300 times per day; while it would be best if there were no limit, it's still good enough for most cases.
Another feature of Perplexity Pro that's worth paying for is parsing different file types, like images and CSV files. Having access to better support is a plus. You may not need to use this feature, but it's nice to know it's there if you do.
While free AI software has its advantages in some aspects, many people have stopped using it because it cannot meet their growing needs. Having a larger limit is essential to get the most out of these tools and should be chosen wisely when investing money.
