Warning: A virus that causes a sudden restart of your computer or a blue screen error is exploding in Vietnam

Bkav has issued a warning, currently has 329,000 computers in Vietnam infected with W32.CrashSMB, a dangerous new virus that causes the computer being used to fail to restart suddenly or blue screen error (Blue Screeen ). This virus incident has stalled a series of network systems with large numbers of computers.

The spread of W32.CrashSMB virus is to attack and exploit computers that exist SMB vulnerabilities, similar to the form of attack of the famous "WannaCry" virus. After infection, W32.CrashSMB will take control of the computer and turn it into a zombie computer to continue attacking to other computers on the same network.

According to Bkav expert, the sign of recognizing a computer infected with W32.CrashSMB is an operating system that sometimes displays an error message, then the computer is suddenly restarted or has a blue screen error.

When the computer is infected with W32.CrashSMB, users will face the risk of being monitored, stolen accounts, personal information . In addition, W32.CrashSMB also uses the computer's system resources to dig virtual money so the computer will run very slowly.
