Viber website and database are hacked

Syrian Electronic Army hacker group (SEA) announced that it had successfully attacked Viber's website and database. SEA is the hacker group that attacked the Twitter accounts of major news agencies such as Associated Press, The Guardian.

Viber said they have 200 million users and it is unclear how many users are affected by the attack. Yesterday, the SEA said it had discovered " millions " of email addresses and phone numbers of users, and they planned to bring them to the Syrian government.
