Valve's Steam platform has a record of 7 million accounts logged in at a time, far exceeding the previous record of 6 million.

Earlier last month, Valve was happy to announce its Steam platform had 65 million users . And today, Valve announced a new record of Steam, when the platform has 7 million users log in at the same time ( yesterday ). Steam is a software used to manage the copyright of games in Valve's system - the largest video game distributor in the world today.

This record far surpassed the previous record, with 6 million accounts logged in, which Steam also achieved during this time last year. This achievement is attributed to Thanksgiving in the United States as well as Valve's annual sales discount. Some of the most played games are Dota 2 ( more than 260,000 players at the same time ) and Counter Strike : Global Offensive ( 66,500 players ).

Although Valve's published figures may be true, it is difficult to deduce whether it can tell if PC gaming trends are increasing. We will need to have more data to confirm it. Because the above figures only reflect separately in Valve's Steam system, but not to mention the fluctuations in the number of terrible PC game players outside the company's system, some examples are World of Warcraft, League of Legends. or Starcraft 2 .
