USB 3.0 has a lot more to offer than 4.8 Gb / s
The new data transfer standard is 10 times faster than the current USB 2.0, but experts say it will include breakthrough features such as handling multiple streams of data at the same time.
This is a two-way design, creating a different communication protocol than the popular USB 2.0 standard today. Accordingly, users not only see copying faster but also do many things at the same time with this interface.
But the connecting cable will be thicker to transmit more power, allowing USB to become a charging channel for many devices, even mobile phones will mainly use USB charging ports.
Microprocessor Intel has just completed a set of specifications for USB 3.0 for other manufacturers to research their hardware and software compatibility. It is expected that this standard will be widely applied in 2010.
