Unlock Mac with Touch ID on iPhone

The application, called FingerKey, allows Mac users to unlock computers with Touch ID fingerprint sensors on iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

The application, called FingerKey, allows Mac users to unlock computers with Touch ID fingerprint sensors on iPhone 5s, iPhone 6 and 6 Plus.

That means you can log in to your Mac with the iPhone's fingerprint sensor, instead of typing the password again and again. FingerKey takes advantage of Apple when opening Touch ID for third-party applications after only 'holding' this function to unlock iPhone and authenticate purchases on the App Store, iTunes.

The application also has features such as opening multiple remote computers, 256-bit encryption, Notification Center Today utility for quick access. FingerKey developer said that in the future, the software supports both unlocking Windows, Linux computers and Pattern Unlock feature, unlocking with touch screen operations.
