The reg export command in Windows

The reg export command copies the specified subkeys, entries and values ​​of the local computer to export to other servers

The syntax of the export reg command

 Reg export KeyName FileName [/ y] 

The parameter export command reg

Parameters

Specify the full path of the subkey.The file export operation contains a subkey that only works on the local computer.The KeyName parameter must include a valid root key.Valid root keys are: HKLM, HKCU, HKCR, HKU and HKCC.

 

Specify the name and path of the file created during file export.The file must have an extension of .reg.

/ y

Overwrite any file named FileName available on the system without prompting to confirm.

/?

Show help at thecommand prompt.
