Spyware detected behind Opera

Opera has just revealed that hackers have hacked into their network and stole at least one expired Opera code (Opera code signing certificate), then used this certificate to insert malicious code. harm to steal user information.

According to Trend Micro's security vendor on July 15, they have just discovered a case of the malware called TSPY_FAREIT.ACU , which has expired Opera certificate. Similar to what Opera just announced.

Once opened, TSPY_FAREIT.ACU will steal important information when users use the FTP protocol or file managers.

In addition, TSPY_FAREIT.ACU also collects more information from Internet browsers ( Mozilla Firefox , Google Chrome and Opera ). These data are usually login information to social networks, banks and e-commerce websites .

Opera announced it would soon release a new update to its web browser to fix the flaw.
