Nvidia will release a new software solution, replacing Nvidia Control Panel and GeForce Experience

 Simply named 'Nvidia App', the software is currently in beta and available for testing.

Owners of some of Nvidia's top GPUs (or even some of its lowest-end GPUs) are forced to use the Nvidia Control Panel to adjust things like display settings, game performance, and screen refresh rates. Meanwhile, GeForce Experience optimizes game settings and provides In-Game Overlays that can be used for things like recording snippets of your gameplay. The lack of a unified app can be confusing and frustrating for those unfamiliar with it.

Hopefully one day Nvidia App can be the solution to help us get rid of that discomfort. According to Nvidia, this application simplifies the process of updating your drivers, making it easier to access and use the rest of the Nvidia software suite, such as GeForce Now, Nvidia Broadcast and Nvidia Omniverse. The company calls it a 'unified 22 GPU control center'.

When installing the beta, users are given the option to log in, and those who log in can be given access to various packages and bonuses. However, not needing to log in is a new and welcome change.

Once installed, the application can be used to adjust driver and game settings. It also has a redesigned In-Game Overlay with features like gameplay recording and performance monitoring as well as AI-powered filters that enhance the gaming experience. This includes what Nvidia calls 'Freestyle Filters'.

These filters use RTX HDR to enhance HDR for SDR games. There's also RTX Dynamic Vibrance, the successor to the Digital Vibrance feature, which is said to enhance the clarity of images in games.

Nvidia App will launch with the latest Game Ready drivers. There don't appear to be any major changes here, although it does add 'optimal settings' for four games, including Nightingale (also DLSS 3), Granblue Fantasy: Relink, Pacific Drive and Skull and Bones.

On the surface, the Nvidia App seems like it will truly be the one-stop solution gamers need. Now you can download the beta directly from Nvidia and try it out.
