Now you can log in to the website on Edge by face or fingerprint

Microsoft Edge supports Web Authentication, allowing you to log in to the website on face browser, fingerprint, PIN or key of FIDO 2 security.

Microsoft recently announced support for Web Authentication in Edge browser, which helps increase security and easily log in without having to remember passwords.

'Security on the web is becoming increasingly important.We trust the browser to process credit card information, personal information and sensitive information such as medical records.All are protected by the old way - passwords.But passwords are hard to remember and insecure - often reused and easily stolen, "Microsoft said.

New features will be available from Windows 10 Insider Preview build 17723 or more, revolving around the hardware used with Windows Hello such as IR Camera, fingerprint sensor and website login.

Microsoft Edge can authenticate by fingerprint or face

Besides the ability to use fingerprint or face sensors to authenticate, you can also use the FIDO2 PIN or security key and any website that is not ready for the future without using a password, you can still use the External devices like FIDO U2F.

Those who are using Windows 10 build 17723 or more may try this feature.Perhaps a future without passwords is not far away.
