Some users say that using the iPhone's reset feature will solve the pink screen error, others contact Apple and get a new phone for free.

According to a report from MyDrivers, in China, Apple is aware of this pink screen bug. An Apple representative said support has received reports indicating this is not a hardware failure but a [iOS] system error.
