120Hz screen will be equipped for all 14 . iPhone models
However, Apple will still only equip 120Hz screens for iPhone 13 Pro and iPhone 13 Pro Max while other brands have equipped screens from 90Hz to 120Hz for smartphones priced from only $ 300.
This may change on the iPhone 14 launched in 2022. A latest rumor says that all iPhone 14 models will be equipped with 120Hz screens. Apple may also remove the iPhone 14 mini and slightly change the supply of display panels.
Leaked information from the supply chain indicates that LG will be involved in providing screens for iPhone 14. Samsung is in charge of supplying 120Hz LTPO OLED panels for iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max. Meanwhile, LG will provide LTPO OLED panels for 120Hz regular iPhone 14.
LG Display is currently converting its production lines to LTPO OLED so it can meet Apple's needs next year. With two screen panel suppliers, Apple will be more proactive in supply and reduce its dependence on Samsung.
iPhone 13 is expected to launch on September 14. If you're aiming for the iPhone 14, you'll have to wait until next year, of course. Currently, the names of this year and next year's iPhone models have not been confirmed and it is entirely possible that it is not iPhone 13, iPhone 14.
Hopefully we will have more information about the new iPhone in the coming days.
